Andrew Putnam, a local PGA Tour golfer and longtime friend of Tyler’s, is playing in his sixth season on the PGA tour, and Edgewater is excited to be one of his sponsors!

Andrew and Tyler attended school together from kindergarten through high school, and the two have remained close friends ever since. Not to mention, Andrew is a client of the firm. Andrew’s golf schedule keeps him on the road, but when he’s in town, the two like to spend time together on the golf course and with their families. Recently, Andrew, Tyler, and C.W. played a round of golf at a local club, and that afternoon, Andrew shot the course record—a 13 under par, 59! During the round, Tyler and C.W. joked about how cool it would be if Edgewater became one of Andrew’s official sponsors. Well, after a few meetings with Andrew and knowing the type of person he is on and off the course, they decided, why not?

Not only is Andrew an incredible golfer, but he’s a generous and supportive community member. He actively participates in First Tee, an organization that teaches kids life skills and personal development through golf, and he’s part of College Golf Fellowship, a faith-based organization that supports college golfers and coaches. “He’s always been a guy with high character and integrity” said Tyler. “His values reflect those we hold at Edgewater, and we’re proud to partner with him as he impacts our community through his golfing and volunteer endeavors.”
